Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Main Street Presence ("we", "us"). By using the Main Street Presence service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Main Street Presence ("the Service") generates, hosts, and provides editing tools for a single-page website for a local business. We use information from your public Google Maps listing as the starting point, then let you edit the content through our dashboard.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 and authorized to represent the business whose website is on the Service. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity on your account.
3. Subscription and billing
- A one-time setup fee of $399 is charged at sign-up.
- A monthly subscription ($49 or $99, depending on plan) is charged automatically on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Billing is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details on our servers.
- Prices are in US Dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to future billing cycles.
You can cancel any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues to the end of the paid period.

5. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you add to your website. You grant Main Street Presence the rights needed to host, display, store, and back up that content while your subscription is active.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any content you add (photos, logos, text). Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights.
6. AI-generated content
The initial version of your page is generated by an AI model from your Google listing data. We do not invent specific prices, certifications, or legal claims, but AI output is not guaranteed accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your page before it goes live and on an ongoing basis.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Operate a business that is illegal in the State of California, United States (for example, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, fraud)
- Send spam, harass, or harm others
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Resell or repackage the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality you rely on.
9. Termination
Either party can terminate at any time. If we terminate your account for cause (for example, a material violation of these terms), we may do so without refund.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Main Street Presence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.
12. Indemnification
You will defend and hold Main Street Presence harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the Effective date above shows when the current version took effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
